The Presiding Member

The Presiding Member is the elected head of the General Assembly of the Ga North Municipal Assembly. The Presiding Member is elected by members of the Assembly and serves as the chairperson for all general Assembly meetings.

As a key leadership figure, the Presiding Member ensures that all Assembly meetings are conducted in accordance with the established rules of procedure, maintains order, and facilitates democratic deliberation on matters affecting the municipality.

  • Maintains order and decorum during Assembly proceedings
  • Facilitates debate and democratic decision-making
  • Signs official Assembly resolutions and minutes
