LOCAL GOVERNMENT MINISTER VISITS GA NORTH MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY

The Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim has visited the Ga North Municipal Assembly on Tuesday, 9th June, 2026. The meeting was held at the Assembly’s Conference Hall. The visit which forms part of government’s accountability series at the Local Governance level, saw the Minister being accompanied by key official of the ministry.

GA NORTH MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY HOLDS CAPACITY TRAINING WORKSHOP FOR STAFF

The Human Resource Department of Ga North Municipal Assembly has held a two-day capacity training workshop for its senior and junior staff. The training came off on the 21st and 22nd April, 2026 at the Assembly hall, saw in attendance the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Joseph Armah, the Head of Human Resource, Mr. Bismark Bimpong, other heads of departments and units and staff.

The Environmental Health Department of the Ga North Municipal Assembly has undertaken a clean-up exercise at Ofankor Barrier and its surrounding communities, on Friday, 1st May, 2026, to improve sanitation and promote public health.
